World Bank Attacked Six Times in 2007

Jakarta – Since mid 2007, the network reported that the World Bank Group’s computer at least six times attacked by dedemit virtual. Terror at PDF File on Blackberry

Research In Motion (Rim) warn about the existence of a bug in the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Professional Software. Bug can be used to turn off the server, or run a malicious program.
Reportedly, the bug is the component of the PDF file attachment on the BlackBerry service. According to the rim, a few months last component has been attacked three PDF types of bugs.

The rim did not give a clear picture about the security detail was slit. But they say the bug is located in the component PDF files. When you open the attachment on the BlackBerry, the bug can kill the server or run malicious code on the hosting service.

As quoted from detikINET, according to the security of Secunia, the bug has been located at the ‘highly critical’, or highly critical.

IMF ‘Attacked’ by Cyber Criminal

China Cyber Attacks can be Dangerous for United States

Washington – China is aggressively developing facilities cyber war and is now in a position ready to disrupt, even crippling the United States military activity in the world. So the warning was delivered by a special commission in the U.S. Congress institutions. In a commission report US-China Economic and Security Review Commission that, stated that China is on the computer facilities to attack the government and the U.S. commercial sector.

It has been mentioned, the Chinese had attacked the U.S. computer system masif in 2002, given the code name Titan Rain. At that time, and quoted by detikINET, China successfully get about 20 Terabytes of data from the U.S. computer networks.

“With the capability of operating cyber of China at this time, they can use it to perform a variety of cyber attacks that can not be dropped by United States, may not even be detected,” the statement in the report.

US become The Biggest Contributor of Spam

United States appeared to be breeding places for gathering spammers alias spreader spam (junk email). According to the observation Symantec Messaging & Web Security, most of the spam that comes from this big country. In Symantec’s monthly report, in October 2008 the U.S. penetration of spam from reaching 29 percent of all spam circulating on the internet. That number as well as placing the U.S. as a country which is the largest source of spam in the world.

In the second place position by Turkey. Countries that are in the border region is Europe and Asia are said by Symantec has at least as much as 8 percent in the spread of spam.

Russia further under the U.S. and Turkey. However, the ‘market’ of the Russian spam is not much different with Turkey, the state bears the red is 7 percent.

World Spam Volume Increases !
