Trojans find there way to your computer because your downloaded it from a site and it was executed. Trojans usually are small .exe programs. It can also enter your computer by a malicious email attachment.
Trojans vary from annoyance to more serious financial loss. Hackers can gain backdoor entry to your computer and access confidential information such as credit card, social security number, or sensitive data you just want to keep private.
Examples of common Trojan are:
1. Trojan.win.32.obfuscated.gx
You may get an error message telling you that your browser was infected by trojan.win.32.obfuscated.gx. and you need to clean your system immediately or it will crash.
2. Trojan Vundo B and variants
This little bugger will cause pop ups to appear on your Internet Explorer browser everytime you log on to the internet and try to open a new page. If you have IE 6.0 and above with tab browsing feature, you will have multiple advertisements appear as new tabs. The anti virus I had could locate the problem but was unable to solve this trojan. It would say that the trojan was detected but unable to clean this error.
3. Trojan Horse dropper.heliosb.I
This one can be detected and quarantined. It will still lurk in your computer after you move the file to the recycle bin.
Because Trojan variants can be found around the web, you can keep your computer safe by installing the best trojan shield. This detects incoming and suspicious files in your email, and can also warn you just before you plan to download a file.

. As suggested by Tantor2903, here’s a preview of The Trojan Horse starring Steve Reeves, Mimmo Palmara and John Drew Barrymore. Steve, as Aeneas, fights old rival Mimmo Palmara, as Ajax. Both Steve and Mimmo were rivals in Hercules too. A very thin John Drew Barrymore plays Ulysses. IMO, this is Steve’s best film and his best performance. His acting is solid and his physique is perfect. This film and its sequels, War of the Trojans (also know as The Avenger), are stand-outs Peplums …

Trojans can be perilous sometimes. For example a code may emerge to be a laptop match sample, but while you like the match, it may be joysatiatedy configureting your hard floppy or forwarding porn sites to each in your forward address book.
Trojans are also worn as a ‘back door’ or ‘corner door’ to sneak into a laptop’s working method’s inconfigureion. An example is a code that pretends to be the method log-in code (such as you find in Windows NT/XP or Linux). When an unsuspecting consumer tries to log-in, the Trojan code captures the consumer-name & password. Then it may suggest a futile log-in shot and exit to the true log-in code. The consumer may successsatiatedy log into the method next time, but by that time Trojan has also got enough minutiae to log into the method.
Example Trojans
Notroj. This Trojan pony pretends to be a code that guards against Trojans. It’s actually a time bomb that wipes out the hard floppy after it’s more than 70 percent satiated.
PWSteal.Refest A Trojan mare that installs itnature as a BHO (Browser aide point) for Internet voyager and steals online banking inconfigureion when it is submitted in web forms.
PWSteal.Likmet.A A Trojan pony that disdrama a fake MSN herald logon opening and steals the password provided.
Run.me. This is a graphics code, which drama the Star shiny Banner and disdrama the American signpost while it worms its way into the hard floppy and erases the numbers on it.
What is Worm?
A Worm is a nature-propagating code that factory its way through a method or group (like the Internet), regularly causing hurt. It does not force a horde code to activate it. somebody has to append a worm candidly into group of interconnected laptops where post can be sent from one to another and numbers annals and codes exchanged. An example is a resident section group where each laptop has its own annals, codes working methods and hard discs such as would be found in a university or corporate venue.
Example Worms

Copenhagen – More than 98 percent of Windows computers vulnerable to the cyber criminals because it contains at least 1 application that is not in the patch. In fact, nearly 50 percent of computers have 11 or more programs that affected the risk cyber attacks. That is quite surprising that the statistics cited security bureau based in Copenhagen, Secunia. Secunia revealed the data based on utility-based research through the Personal Software Inspector (PSI) that are installed in the consumer computer.
According to Thomas Kristensen, Secunia Chief Technology Officer, utility that can track the existence of applications that have not been in the patch. Secunia then randomly select the 20,000 machines that have been adopted as the PSI study.
“Most people are always to update Windows because Windows Update is easy to use. Applications Adobe Reader, Flash and Quicktime, and also so the browser. However, many browser plug in from third parties have no mechanism so that people do not update”, said Kristensen.
The data from the PSI indicates only 1.9 percent of computer users who are really secure. This figure is lower than the data the study last January in which 4.5 percent is still free from computer programs that are not in the patch, as noted from DetikInet.

Truly I am surprise to know this. Just in time of 24 hours, the worms exploit a bug Windows infected more than one million of Windows PC. As noted from detikINET, Finnish security company F-Secure, estimates that the number of PCs infected by worm called “Downadup” is now increased from a previous 2.4 million to 3.5 million.
According to several security companies, the worm is also called “Conficker” This exploit a bug in the Windows Server service used to support all versions of Microsoft operating systems, such as Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003 and Server 2008.
The increase dramatically the number of the infected PC “Downadup”, Microsoft is pushing to add detection for the worm Malicious Software Removal Tool (MSRT), ie the anti-malware tools from Microsoft.
Reportedly, the largest number of infections occur in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Korea, and several European countries, including English, French and German.
Suprisingly isn’t it ?

Well, pirate software are never stop. Although not yet officially released, Windows 7 already pirated. Not only pirated, the program intruded any mallicious program in it. As I read from DetikINET, computer security researchers have found the RC version of Windows 7 pirated circulating on the internet. Not only unofficial, Windows 7 is equipped with a type of malicious program Trojan Downloader.
Malicious program infection in pirated Windows 7 that is going fast enough. At its peak, the level of infection reached 200 minutes per computer.
Program evil in pirated Windows 7 is trying to create a network of infected computers (botnet). Network of this kind will be used to send viruses, spam or conduct cyber attacks.
Damballa, a security research organization, claims successfully handling to one of the central control botnet by pirated Windows 7. But feared this was only one of several pirated versions of Windows 7 that contain malicious programs.
In addition there is also evil programs that simulate the installer as Windows 7. If such a program downloaded, users will find the program only evil and not Windows 7.
We must be carefull about it.

Today I read interesting article from DetikInet about most dangerous virus at May 2009. It was published by Kapersky. Kaspersky Security Network released a list of top 20 virus attacks in the month of May. There are two newcomers in the list of malware that attack. What are they?
There are two lists published by Kaspersky. First list contained list of dangerous programs (Malware), Adware, and unwanted programs are the most commonly detected by the computer user. Here is the list of them :

3. Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Flystud.ko
4. Trojan.Win32.Autoit.ci
5. Trojan.JS.Agent.xy
6. Exploit.HTML.CodeBaseExec
7. Trojan-Downloader.Win32.VB.eql
8. Trojan.Win32.Chifrax.a
9. Virus.Win32.Virut.ce

No significant changes in the Top 20 in May. There are only two newcomers in this list, that is, the P2P-Worm.Win32.Palevo.ddm and Trojan.Win32.Swizzor.a.
The spread of P2P-Worm.Win32.Palevo.ddm in the public network through various peer-to-peer, also infected through storage media, making it easier for distribution.
While Trojan.Win32.Swizzor.a utilize some interesting and sophisticated tricks to hide the code, and disguise the presence in the system.
Meanwhile, in the second list, Kaspersky provides data on which programs infected the most objects detected on the user’s computer. Following list:
1. Virus.Win32.Sality.aa
2. Worm.Win32.Mabezat.b
