Operating System Mac OS X often considered quite safe from malicious hack programs. However, it seems, Mac users now need to increase the security. This has not been long, at the Apple support site, Apple recommends the consumers using the Mac more than one antivirus application to be more secure. Quoted from detikINET, Apple gave three options for the recommended anti-virus, ie, Intego VirusBarrier x5, McAfee VirusScan for Mac, and Symantec Norton Anti-Virus 11 for Macintosh.
During this time, Mac OS X is more secure rather than Windows. One reason is because the virus spread the virus with the benefit of Windows that is used by more users.
However, over time, Microsoft Windows market trends show a decrease in the Mac and vice versa. According to Net Applications, in 2004 the market share reached 96.36 percent of the Windows and Mac reached 3.25 percent.
However, in November 2008, the Windows have 89.62 percent market share and Mac OS X increased with the 8.87 per cent. In addition, software products such as Apple QuickTime and the Safari browser used ordinary Windows users.
With the expansion of Apple’s products, the program seems evil rift triggered exploit security. Some programs also identified a new evil attacks the Mac, including Troj / RKOSX-A were found August 2008.
