Millions of programmers and software developer already familiar with MySQL. Yes, MySql is the most favourite database system in the world. I ever read the research release that the use of MySQL on the web is the first ranking among another database. Now, I know that MySQL has been acquired by Sun Microsystems, Inc, at 16 Januari 2008. It was informed last year at Sun’s official website.

As an additional information, at November 2005, Sun also give a support to other opensource database, PostgreSQL. As we know that PostgreSQL also very familiar among developers around the world after MySQL. Both are used for developing web application like website or online Application Service Provider (ASP). They also support for various programming script environment, like PHP, Java, Visual Basic, etc.
